Radiation Oncologist

Dr. Rajiv “Raj” Dahiya is a board-certified radiation oncologist with extensive experience in cancers of the prostate, head & neck, lung, breast, GI tract, skin as well as brain tumors. With over 18 years of clinical experience including Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT) with Varian True Beam Rapid Arc system, stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) with Cyberknife and GammaKnife units.

Graduated from 1st 6-year combined BA/MD program in US (U of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine) and attended Harvard Business School/YPO President’s Program 2014. Completed first residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor University Medical Center followed by second residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where he served as Chief Resident and worked with IMRT technology in its developmental stage.

He has authored numerous publications and is the co-author of Understanding Microinflammation: The Common Link Between Aging, Cancer and Coronary Disease. Selected to SuperDoctors Texas 2011-2017.

Dr. Dahiya has worked with Santé Nou Health where his roles included chief healthcare architect of a complex Population Health Program for Haiti working closely in conjunction with a number of multi-nationals and government entities. The program seeks to deliver prompt on demand healthcare throughout the country and region and aims to improve the United Nations Development Program Human Development Index (UNDP HDI).
